Clarifying is key for healthy hair. A regular deep, thorough cleanse is fundamental in removing dirt and build-up from the scalp. If not removed, they can clog the hair follicles and affect shedding and hair growth.

However, traditional clarifying shampoos can be a bit more drying and strip hair of its natural moisture. That's why Curlsmith created this Detox System in 3 steps.

Curlsmith KIT: Detox includes:

The Curlsmith Super Slip Pre-Biotic Primer: creates a shield around the hair shaft, detangling and protecting its precious moisture.

The Curlsmith Wash & Scrub Detox Pro-Biotic: deeply cleanses and exfoliates the scalp, melting away all dirt & build-up.

The Curlsmith Post-Biotic Calming Conditioner: soothes and refreshes the scalp, leaving a tingly sensation and rebalancing moisture levels.

WHO IS IT FOR? All curl types, and even straight hair! Particularly beneficial for people who suffer from flaky, dry or itcky scalp. Suitable for any hair thickness or porosity.

Directions

STEP 1: Wet your hair thoroughly and apply on the scalp before your shampoo, gently massaging it in. While the pre-biotics are working, make your way down the hair lengths, finger detangling until you get rid of all the knots.

Do not rinse out. Follow immediately with the Curlsmith Wash & Scrub Detox Pro-Biotic. The primer will protect your scalp while the shampoo clarifies it.

STEP 2: Massage vigorously into your scalp to break down product build-up, without rinsing the Curlsmith Super Slip Pre-biotic Primer first. Rinse off thoroughly. Your hair will feel squeaky clean, good, that's the proof it worked!

STEP 3: Apply generously on wet hair after rinsing off the Curlsmith Wash & Scrub Detox Pro-Biotic. Coat all strands evenly and let it sit for 1-2 minutes to perform its soothing action on the scalp. Rinse off thoroughly.

My scalp is soothed and feels great during and after the treatment, and the calmness lasts, it’s not a temporary “ahh.” It smells amazing. I especially love the eco, non cruelty, sustainability commitment from this company. It would be cool if curlsmith partnered up with terracycle and had a bottle recycling stream. Anyhoo, once I’m through the many other products that I have collected to care for my wispy, frizzy, long inconsistently wavy Anglo blonde hair, I’m switching to curlsmith products.

I was recommended medical shampoo to use once a week, and I hated it, it dried my hair and scalp, and sometimes felt like it's doing nothing so I used it more than once. I tried this kit and I feel like my scalp is clean, calm, no more dandruffs and itching, and my hair is soft and healthy. I still use it once in a while, but now I don't mind because I can still have soft curls even after my wash.
